Genesis

A luminous ceiling sculpture is derived from LIDAR data for the Minneapolis Public Services Building. Made of wood slats and thousands of LED lights this project shifts with river level changes. Designed by architect and artist Aaron Marx, this project integrates public art into architecture and uses light and real-time data to make environmental conditions visible in public art.
